I am a Professor for Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Applied Sciences in Bremen since 2001. I worked as a Research Associate in Psychology from 1985 to 1993 and as an Assistant Professor in Developmental Psychology from 1993 to 2000 at the Freie Universität Berlin.

During that time I have been a Visiting scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC, USA from August 1996 to June 1997.
I held a Diploma in Psychologie from the Freie Universität Berlin and a PhD from the Freie Universität in 1989. Since 1986 I am additionally working as a Consultant for Digital Media.
