My research interests encompass applied and basic research within the fields of game studies, and Human Computer Interaction. Both fields are integrated in the work of our research group Gangs of Bremen, focusing on mobile gaming experiences.
I have strong roots in the HCI tradition of the activity theory. However, I am working with and heading for a plural form of concept formation and empirical studies needed for interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary work.
